Our Mission

The Masters Mission exists to partner with the local church to help train, equip, and send her people to make disciples of all nations.

TRAIN. EQUIP. SEND.

“The fields are white for harvest.”

But where are the laborers?

Local Church

It starts with the local Church. Christ gave the Great Commission to his Apostles who in turn instructed the early church.

The church today stands in history with the responsibility to fulfill the command to, “make disciples of all nations.” Christ did not extend the command to mission agencies. He extended His charge to His church.

Methods of Training

The local church is responsible to identify and confirm the gifting and calling of the people she will send in missions. These “field workers” will need mission’s specific training.

Our comprehensive Bible curriculum ensures missionary candidates are prepared as “unashamed workmen”, intimately knowing Christ and His Word. Candidates will be equipped to answer the hard questions all people groups seek to answer and introduce these people to the Savior, Jesus Christ.

Graduates of TMM’s missionary training will be prepared to share and defend the Biblical worldview while preaching Christ and as they demonstrate through sanctified lives, Christ’s power to redeem man eternally.

Modes of Equipping

The Bible is not the missionary’s only tool. Vocational skills training aids in tangibly loving your neighbor and building bridges, sometimes literally, cross-culturally with people. This training is often a neglected but necessary component as missionaries prepare for the field.

Being equipped in building construction, welding, mechanics, heavy equipment operation, alternative power sources, and water procurement and distribution will serve missionary candidates well.

These skills open platforms for ministry and give missionaries the advantage of being self-sustaining in the diverse locations they will serve in.

Long-term Service

“Make disciples” was Christ’s command. In cultures where there is no Biblical foundation, missionaries start at ground zero, seeking to introduce and establish a biblical worldview. The seeds of the gospel are germinated in the fertile soil bed of teaching which originates in the Old Testament Scriptures. This initiative requires a long-term commitment and faithfulness to see the “whole counsel of God” taught.

Sending

The sending of missionaries is a joint venture between the local church and mission agencies. Local churches will identify the people God is calling to missions. As a mission we come alongside church leaders in getting these people to the field.

As a dual training and sending mission agency, TMM not only trains and equips missionaries, we also handle logistical issues to ensure missionaries safely and preparedly get to the mission field. Some of these logistics include donation management and disbursement, visa applications, and pastoral missionary care through periodic field visits to the various fields.
